Production process

S.M.G. makes use of the following welding processes: ELECTRODE, CORED WIRE, TIG, SUBMERGED ARC, SMAW, FCAW, GTAW, SAW.
Most common workings are: DUPLEX, SP. DUPLEX, ALLOY STEEL, HASTELLOY, INCOLLOY, HIGH/LOW ALLOYED STEEL, ALL AISI ALSO WITH 321 TP, 347H, NICHEL, CHROME ALLOY AND CARBON STEEL.

Weld workers are qualified according to ASME XIII-IX e UNI-EN 287 standards, plus our own PQR and WPAR in stainless steel low/high alloyed and carbon steel. They are also qualified by the differents welding systems acquired by l'I.I.S. (Italian Welding Institute), by RINA (Italian Bureau of Shipping) and I.S.P.ES.L (High Department of Prevention and Safety on Work).
